Memorializing a Legend

This December 9th, Kislev 12, will mark ten years since the passing of Rabbi Y.Y. Kazen--affectionately known by his signature, "YYK".

Rabbi Kazen used the fledgling internet to reach Jews throughout the world, well before most people -- or any Jewish organization -- knew its use or potential. Many were profoundly touched by YYK in those early years when he pioneered Chabad In Cyberspace, when he rightfully earned the title: "Father of the Jewish Internet."

We would like to create a special memorial section in time for his yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing), and we know there are lots of memories stored away in the minds of those who communicated with him. If you have a memory or revealing anecdote to share, please take a few moments to write it down and send it to our editors at Chabad.org.

Click here to submit your "YYK" memory.
